Last Modified: October 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WeatherPeek (the “Service”), accessible at https://weatherpeek.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Informational Purpose & Forecast Uncertainty
All meteorological information, including current temperatures, feels-like metrics, precipitation probabilities, wind speeds, 10-day outlooks, and air quality estimates, are provided strictly for general informational and educational purposes.
Atmospheric Uncertainty: Weather forecasting relies on complex mathematical approximations of fluid dynamics and thermodynamic state vectors. Atmospheric conditions can shift unpredictably due to microclimates, topographic anomalies, and rapid convective developments. WeatherPeek makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the absolute precision, timeliness, or completeness of any forecast.
3. Emergency Situations & Life Safety
WeatherPeek is not an official warning authority. For critical life-safety decisions, commercial aviation flight plans, maritime voyages, or evacuation measures during tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, or flash floods, users must consult official alerts issued by national meteorological authorities (such as the US National Weather Service, UK Met Office, Météo-France, etc.).
4. Intellectual Property & Data Attribution
The WeatherPeek logo, trademark, web interface design, educational guide articles, and software codebase are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Weather datasets displayed within the application are derived from Open-Meteo under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0).
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Engage in aggressive, automated scraping or denial-of-service attacks that overload our caching infrastructure.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security controls on our API proxy routes.
- Misrepresent WeatherPeek forecasts as official government severe-weather declarations.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
